ABOUT THE ARTIST

Intuitively, with spontaneity and surreal inspiration, she moves within the field of abstraction. Traces of runs, transparent layers of paint that do not completely obscure the one below, scratching on the upper level of paint and multiple overlaps of hatching with graphite pen are indications of the painting process itself. The large areas, in particular, catch the eye while multiple over-painting with a wide brush creates structure and numerous nuances. Just as when back-lit, the other pictorial elements in the composition need to assert themselves. Her artistic trend is characterized by the formlessness and spontaneity in artistic production. Colour and other visual materials are used intuitively. Like in informal painting, her works are not subject to rigid rules and follow the processes of the unconscious. Completely detached from template and subject matter, she leaves room for different interpretations.

She has been painting and drawing since her early youth.

Working method: primarily in large format on canvas, acrylic painting, drawings and illustrations. In addition to traditional techniques such as acrylic, pigments, pencil, charcoal or ink, digital drawing media such as tablets or smartphones are also used.
