Josefina Saenz was born in 1983 in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Her love for the arts started at a very young age often spending her weekends at art shops, painting and drawing. She always loved to paint and chose a creative path for her career by studying Industrial Design.
After graduating, she moved abroad where she continued her art studies while moving through The United States, Latin America, and Europe. This gave her the unique opportunity to experience many diverse and colourful cultures that are the base inspiration for her Art.
She currently lives in beautiful Switzerland with her husband and two kids.
My inspiration is drawn from my love of nature and the outdoors; enjoying the simple things in life. I love watching the sunset, the magical colours of the sky changing with the light, a flower growing in spring, the wind moving through the leafs, my kids laughter. Through my work, I try to share this peacefulness creating harmony in the movement throughout.
I use happy colours, pastel colours mostly, but with a great chromatic variation to translate this joy and playfulness into the canvas.
I have an intuitive creative process; I let my emotions flow and combine materials and techniques. My industrial design background together with my artistic development and cultural exposure mix, reflect in what I believe is my unique style of representation.
