About the artist

I started to paint regularly in 2019 and created an Instagram account for my artworks in the end of that year. Since then I have had exhibitions for example in Helsinki and Milano. My art will also be presented by International Contemporary Art Fair in Bruxelles in November 2020. I am more than happy to explore and to be inspired by art scenes around the world.

I do abstract paintings with acrylics. My art is about pursuing harmony and balance found in the nature but also in aged, built environments, like concrete walls and rusty metals. For me making art is mostly an intuitive process. I just go with the flow –  and the colours, the composition, the methods will follow.  Natural and neutral tones are characteristics of my art. I am fascinated by layers and textures that I think bring a certain deep and dimension.

Although I have always love creating I really started to paint in 2019. All of sudden I understood that to paint is what I need to do, it was something I was subconsciously longing for. For me to paint is like to be in a safety haven, it ables a break from a techno-rational world where words and rationalisations become irrelevant.

I have an enormous trust in the creating process and I believe there are no wrong actions. Instead all brush strokes bring me closer to the final result.
